The factory primary downpipes house restrictive catalytic converters directly off the turbo outlets, trapping intense radiant heat and creating severe backpressure. The PCZ Performance Heat-Shielded Catless Downpipe Set replaces these restrictions with a smooth, high-flow straight-through layout equipped with an integrated thermal insulation shield.

Engineered specifically for Stage 1, Stage 2, and custom flex-fuel tuning, this set drops backpressure to accelerate turbo spool, sharpen throttle response, and build mid-range torque. The integrated dimpled stainless heat isolation wrap keeps extreme exhaust gas temperatures contained inside the piping. This drastically reduces under-bonnet heat soak, protects surrounding wiring and sensors, and maintains high exhaust gas velocity for superior scavenging.

Important Compatibility Note: Check Engine Light (CEL)

Installing a catless downpipe removes the factory catalytic converter, which will trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL) on your dashboard due to the secondary O2 sensor detecting high exhaust flow.

This is completely normal and does not harm the engine, but resolving the light requires an ECU software calibration (such as a Stage 1 or Stage 2 tune) or an O2 sensor spacer.
