PCZ Performance Axle-Back Muffler Delete (F30 / F31 / F32 / F33 / F36) with 4" Carbon Black Tips

1. Disconnect the Exhaust Valve

• Before starting the exhaust removal, unplug the exhaust valve sensor/connector from the original muffler.
• Secure the connector and wiring safely out of the way so it cannot hang down or move around underneath the car.

2. Measure and Mark

• Measure the length of the muffler delete pipe supplied with the kit.
• Use this measurement to mark the exact cutting point on the existing exhaust.
• Make sure both sides are measured correctly before cutting.

3. Transfer the Rubber Hangers

• Remove the original exhaust rubber hangers from the factory muffler.
• Install them onto the new muffler delete setup.
• The hanger positions should align with the original factory setup.

4. Cut the Existing Exhaust

• Cut the factory exhaust at the marked position.
• Make sure the cut is clean and straight so the new muffler delete pipes can connect properly.

5. Install the Muffler Delete Pipes

• Slide the supplied muffler delete pipes into position.
• Use the clamps included with your order to connect the new pipes to the existing exhaust.
• Make sure the pipes are fully inserted and positioned correctly.
• Tighten the clamps securely all the way.
• If welding equipment is available, tack weld the connection points after everything is correctly aligned. This will provide additional security and help prevent the pipes from moving or developing leaks.

6. Adjust the Exhaust Tips

• Before fully tightening everything, check the position of the exhaust tips.
• Adjust them so they sit evenly and protrude as far out as you prefer.
• Check both sides from the rear of the vehicle to make sure the tips are sitting straight and evenly positioned.

7. Final Check

• Make sure all clamps are fully tightened.
• Check that the exhaust pipes and tips are properly aligned.
• Make sure the exhaust has enough clearance from the bumper, heat shields and surrounding components.
• If tack welding was used, check the welds and connection points.
• Start the vehicle and check for any exhaust leaks around the connections.
